About Debbie
For as far back as I can remember I have always enjoyed creating art. It has been a passion that has always found a way of being a part of my life.
However painting is fairly new to me. I picked up my first acrylic paints in 2013 and have never looked back. I was fortunate at the time to hook up with a local art association where I have been able to learn from some amazingly talented and accomplished artists. Through this association I was introduced to soft pastels. This past year I discovered Blob Art. I find so much fun and creativity when
creating my Blob art pieces.
In 2020 my family moved from the Niagara Region to Manitoulin Island. As a semi- retirement plan we currently own and operate Wee Point Resort. This has afforded me the time to really explore the artist in me. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to call home. I am a member of the Manitoulin Fine Arts Association and recently had some pieces shown at the Lacloche Art show and participated in the Manitoulin Art tour.
